Analysis of the New EU Pact on Migration and Asylum

A coalition of nine Europe-wide Christian organizations, including the SHARE Network, has launched a series of position papers setting out their positions and concerns regarding the European Commission's proposals for a New Pact on Migration & Asylum.

The Christian organizations advocate for better responsibility-sharing between EU Member States and improved reception, protection, and integration of asylum-seekers while highlighting some concerns with the content of the proposal, including its the emphasis on returning migrants to their country of origin.
