Welcome to our Resource Bank
This resource bank was designed as part of the Share Quality Sponsorship Network (QSN). It is further being developed under the Share QSN Plus project. You can read more about Share QSN Plus in the next module.
Many countries across the world have introduced community-led refugee sponsorship schemes, and together we have supported hundreds of thousands of refugees to resettle and rebuild their lives. We have developed fantastic resources and we have learned a lot of lessons.
In this resource bank, we share lessons learned from across the globe and include your useful resources - why reinvent the wheel?!
We hope this is useful for volunteers, newcomers, governments and organisations working to deliver refugee sponsorship programmes in your countries.
Share QSN Plus: Sharing Learning Across the Globe
Building on the success of the Share QSN project, QSN Plus aims to further improve the integration of refugees in Europe by strengthening and expanding community sponsorship (CS) programmes.
Objectives
Enhance Sponsorship Quality
Improve the quality of support offered by sponsors through updated training materials and toolkits adapted to local needs. Training will be delivered through a mix of in-person and online sessions.
Expand and Diversify Sponsorship
Engage a wider range of actors in refugee sponsorship, including diaspora groups, refugees themselves, employers, housing associations, and students. This will expand programs geographically, reaching rural areas.
Strengthen Coordination
Establish stronger connections between community sponsorship and other refugee support programs at local, regional, national, and European levels. This will lead to more consistent and effective policies and practices.
