Education Pathways are safe and legal avenues for talented refugees to continue in higher education in a third country.
Community sponsorship is a great way for communities to get involved in welcoming refugees and helping them to adapt to life in a new country. A group of people come together with the shared objective of welcoming people from a refugee background to their community. In many cases, groups fundraise money to support the newcomers.
Welcome Groups also called Community Sponsorship Groups (CSGs) supporting refugee students, are supportive networks formed by volunteer university students and staff, alumni and community members to welcome newly arrived refugee students to campus and provide integration supports.
Integration support we see this as a holistic approach: supporting students in their administrative procedures, access to university facilities, cultural and linguistic integration, financial and psychological support and inclusion in the local community.
